Shin Ha
Kyun was born on May 30, 1974 in Seoul, South Korea. Coming to the 7th
art in the youth, Shin Ha Kyun proved himself worth of “big old tree” title
with 20 years of hard work for cinema.
Despite
of not doing a lot of dramas, small quantity high quality, all dramas with the
participation of Shin Ha Kyun, has achived great ratings like: : Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002),
Good Person (2003), Harvest Villa của đài tvN (2010), Brain (2011),…
Shin Ha
Kyun had falled in love with actress Kim Go Eun, who was famous for her role in
Muse (2012), Cheese in the Trap (2016),… Kim Go Eun was born in 1991, 17 years
younger than Shin Ha Kyun so netizens still call them “uncle- nephew” couple.
However, on March 22th, 2017, they broke up.
From the
age of 19 to now, over 40 years old, Shin Ha Kyun has relentlessly devoted to
nearly 50 films in both telefilm and motion picture. His effort was
acknowledged by a series of prestigious awards and nominations at Baeksang Arts
Awards, Golden Disk Awards, Blue Dragon Film Awards, Seoul International Drama
Awards and so on. Shin Ha Kyun ‘s reputation become a testament to a success of
an artwork.
